Saturday 6/9 Bulldogs met the Hawks on their home field. We were missing three key defensive members, but with the remainder of the roster, the Bulldogs were able to organize a solid defense.

Bulldogs dominated the game in terms of possession, passing and shooting opportunities. This was reflected in the final score of 5-2. This game was especially a good one, because there was an incident from which all the players could learn and grow in terms of team spirit, sportsmanship and I think the bond of friendship as well.

A Bulldog player at one point while defending his goal from an imminent strike from an opposing player, kicked in an "own goal". He was very disappointed and had a small "breakdown" on the field.

His teammates did not even once insinuate that he had done something wrong and rallied around him to let him know it was just an accident. They cheered for him at the conclusion of the game, which I thought was the best moment I experienced as a coach so far.
